Sediment Profilers
Our advanced sediment profilers, including the GraviProbe 2.0 and DensX, provide accurate and reliable data for a wide range of marine and environmental applications. These tools offer cutting-edge technology to ensure precise measurements, enabling informed decision-making for engineering and environmental projects.

Graviprobe 2.0: The GraviProbe analyzes underwater sediment layers during intrusion. It accelerates under its own weight, penetrating fluid and consolidated mud layers. Data collected from onboard accelerometers, inclinometers, and pressure sensors feed into a dynamic model that determines the geotechnical parameters of the sediment. A new feature of GraviProbe 2.0 is the measurement of Static Undrained Shear Strength (Su).

DensX: This device measures mud densities ranging from 1.0 T/m³ to 1.4 T/m³ with an accuracy of 0.25%. Based on X-ray technology, it offers a direct measurement method without the legal restrictions associated with radioactive density systems. With a sampling speed of 10 Hz, DensX enables rapid profiling.
